OnePlus X costs $299,

5.0 inch powered by a Snapdragon 801

The OnePlus X will officially be available on the 29 October and we have already found a listing for it.

Gearbest webshop has told us that OnePlus X is going to start selling shortly. The phone supports 4G . It is black and has a  Snapdragon 801 Quad core with 2.0 GHz core clock. The phone comes with 3GB of RAM, 16GB of storage and two cameras – one 13 megapixel and the front camera with 8 megapixel resolution. The larger camera comes with an autofocus and thee phone has dual SIM capability.

The 5.0 inch screen supports 1920x1080 Full HD resolution and should be enough for anyone. The 5 inch screen makes it a mini device. Just a few years back the 4.3 inch was considered to be a monster. The phone looks rather good, with what it looks like metal frame, a few buttons and clean, boxy and square design.

The OnePlus followers love the fact that the phone runs the Oxygen OS which is based on Android 5.1. One can be sure that the OnePlus will do the invitation marketing trick for this device too, but we will know a bit more about how the company plans to distribute this phone by 29 October which is  the official launch day.

The listing price of $299 doesn't include the shipping cost and you should add some $10 to the cost. Then there is import tax and VAT (sales tax) on top of this price.

A bit cheaper phones with a bit better specification  can be found but let's hope that OnePlus marketing can help them sell more of these devices.
