ZTE has finally lifted the wraps off the much anticipated smartphone that goes by the name of Axon Max and is the newest member to join the ZTE's Axon series. Like it was earlier reported Axon Max flaunts a larger 6 inches AMOLED 2.5D curved glass display with Full HD resolution. It carries a price tag of 2799 Yuan ($432).
ZTE has gone all metal for this smartphone and Axon Max is quite a looker and bears close resemblance with recently launched flagship device Huawei Mate 8 .
Under the metallic body Axon Max, running MiFavor 3.5 UI based on Android 5.1, packs an octa core Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 (MSM8952) processor coupled with 3 GB of RAM.
The internal storage capacity is 32 GB which can be further expanded up to 128 GB.
As for the camera, Axon Max features a 16 MP rear camera with an aperture f/2.2 along with Phase Detection Auto Focus which takes 0.1 seconds to lock focus. on the front there is 13 MP camera with an aperture f/1.9 for capturing perfect selfies and video chats.
A fingerprint sensor based on MAXFPC third generation active compression technology further decorates the back panel and supports voice unlocking as well.
Axon Max comes equipped with independent audio chip AK4961 along with adaptive noise cancelling feature and Hi-Fi audio to deliver state of the art listening experience.
Axon Max brings on board a massive 4140 mAh battery which will keep it running for longer periods of time without running out of juice. It supports Quick Charge 2.0 and comes with USB Type-C connectivity option.
ZTE Axon Max carries a price tag of 2799 Yuan ($432) which is only 200 Yuan less than Huawei Mate 8 which is priced at 2999 Yuan ($463). Do you think that Axon Max is a good competitor or better alternative than Huawei Mate 8?
